The statue is carved from maple wood.

Rifiniture:

Painted: After being carved, the figures are painted in oil and gold-plated. The process is performed entirely by hand.
Burnished 3 colours: After being carved, the sculpture is painted with two or three different shades of mordant and polished with a layer of wax.
Waxed with gold: The sculpture is treated with a transparent wax and brought to gloss; the edges are decorated with gold lines. Each piece comes directly from our workshop and is carved and painted by hand in Val Gardena in the best tradition.
